Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of inadequate tolerance, resiliency and social anxiety on the attitude toward addiction. The statistical population of this research consisted of 189 students. The sample size was 126 persons using simple random sampling and Cochran formula. In order for data collection, four-dimensional questionnaire was utilized in which all questions were within Likert Spectrum. In order for data analysis, structural relationship model was applied. So as to determine the validity of the questionnaire, content validity and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient were used. Thus, the validity for attitude toward addiction questionnaire (Karimi, 2012) was 0.85, for Wale's anxious thoughts questionnaire was 0.82, for Connor-Davidson resilience questionnaire (2003) was 0.91 and for inadequate tolerance was 0.84. For data analysis, test of research hypotheses andother analyses of this research, LISREL statistical software was implemented. The results revealed that there was no significant relationship between inadequate tolerance and attitude toward addiction. However, there was a significant relationship between resiliency and attitude toward addiction as well as between social anxiety and attitude toward addiction.
