Application analysis of ITs (automation) on aviculture units in Khoy county

Iran along with many countries of the world moves to using of information technology. Applying the information technology is one of the most important factors in the development and increase of efficiency of aviculture units.
The aim of the present study is an examination and analysis of applying information technology in the aviculture units in the Khoy County in 2014.
METHIDS: Type of research is descriptive-correlational and statistical population is all (107) the aviculture unit managers in the Khoy County. From these units, respectively, there are 87 meat chicken unit, 12 laying hens unit and 8 breeder unit. For determining sample size of meat chicken units, random sampling method with Cochrane formula was used and then 30 units selected. Also we used census method for laying hens and breeder. The rate of alpha coefficient for reliability of questionnaire was calculated equals 0.81.
According to results, there are positive and significant correlation between depended variable (using information technology in the management of aviculture units) and independent variables such as; education level, attitudes towards automation, risk adoption, visit of exhibitions, use of banking facilities, computer and internet knowledge’s, poultry hall area and size of the herd.
Also the result of regression analysis showed that the risk adoption, size of the herd and visit of exhibitions is determining 61.1% of the use of information technology variance.
