The Word Nafa's (Breath) in Bidel Dehlavi's Works

Certainly, among Mirza Abdolqader Bidel's Poems, according to the Bidel scholar, Dr. Abdolqani, there are a lot of ''pampered Words'' which Bidel has used in his skilful meaning makings and poems so that he was entitled as Abolmaani (Father of Meanings).Infiltration of the word ''Ayyineh'' (Mirror) and the compoumd words and interpretations the poet made with them has led Aboulmaani to be entitled as ''Mirror Poet'' (Shafeee Kadkani). Likewise, other words such as '' Heirat'' (wonder), '' Wahdat'' (unity), '' Kesrat'' (plurality), ''Mouwj'' (wave) and other similar words have attracted the poet so that in his meaning making, creating numerous spiritual and artistic innovations have been served a purpose. The word ''Nafas'') Breath), too is among the pampered words of Bidel which has infiltrated meaning making in the poet's Divan. In this study, it was tried to investigate the poetic meaning makings and poetic compounds of the word "Nafas" in Bidel’s Divan. Investigating the interpretive use of the poets succeeding Mirza Bidel based on encyclopaedias of poems and other encyclopaedias which belong to interpretation of certain poets, and poets’ Divans, it was pointed out that if prior to the poet there had been twenty poetic compounds of the word ''Nafas'' in different encyclopaedias of poems and general encyclopaedias, Mirza Bidel was successful in composing more than a hundred poetic compound words in his poems by using that words which were the results of his on creative and critical poetic thinking of the poet. Moreover, because the word was used in the composition of compound words and new interpretations, based on the poet's ideas, it has achieved new mystical, philosophical and esoteric meanings and accordingly they are the reflections of poetic art of Bidel in creating new meanings and poetic techniques, new composition and interpretations that have enriched the Persian language making the foundations of the current study.
