Presentational Method for Location Allocation of Fuel Stations with the Aim of Improving the Traffic (The Case Study of Region 1 of Tehran)

Abstract:
In this research, it istried to present a location-allocationalgorithm forurban areas. In this regard, the common methods and parameters which were applied in other countries were reviewed. The main goal of offering this algorithm is to maximize the service rate with minimum fueling stations. For accomplishing this research, a statement form was designed and applied. In this form, population centers indicators, number of population in each region, trip attractor centers, and number of working people in each region, number of current stations and length of queue in each fueling station were inspected and analyzed. Finally, regarding to the importance of fueling stations and the effect of their distribution condition on traffic behavior, it was tried to find proper locations for constructing fueling stations. In a case study to investigate the Tehran 1st District was proposed 14 new points and three places from current positions should also be upgraded in terms of number of pumps.
