Reengineering in military organizations

Current knowledge in the field of in business process reengineering, generally draws on experiences which are based on the execution of reengineering projects based on the scientific rules and principles in private agencies. Negative response to the question that “if reengineering and related techniques are simply especial for the business organizations” is a result of efforts which currently are being performed by many experts in industrial , administrational , military, medical and… organizations in this area. This paper by taking into accounts the natural differences between military organization from one side and civil and governmental organizations from the other side firstly tries to make clear the prominent characteristics of the way of execution and effects of reengineering in military organizations and what types of obstacles exist on its way, then briefly and by referring to some factual examples pays attention to the practical realities in execution of reengineering in Islamic Republic Army. After that it considers the practical suggestions about the ways of getting successful and effective experiences which could be found in Islamic Republic Army in addition of referred problems and obstacles.
