The Role of Psychological Capital and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Predicting Job Satisfaction of Exceptional Elementary School's Teachers

The purpose of present study was to investigate the role of psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior in predicting job satisfaction of elementary exceptional school’s teachers.
The research type was descriptive-correlation. Population of study includes all exceptional elementary school’s teachers in Kermanshah in 2014-2015. All teachers (N=108) selected as sample. Psychological capital (Luthans, 2007), organizational citizenship behavior (Podsakoff, 1999) and job satisfaction (Barry Field &Ruth, 1951) were used as tools. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and linear regression stepwise method.
Research findings showed that the components of self-efficacy hope optimism and resiliency and total psychological capitals a significant positive correlation with job satisfaction; however, the components of organizational citizenship chivalry and Humility, courtesy in order have significant negative correlation and positive with job satisfaction. More over results showed that psychological Capital and chivalry can predicts %25 of job satisfaction.
Findings indicated the importance of psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior in predicting job satisfaction in teachers.
