The Study of the Relationship between the Academic Staff s Creativity and Their Educational and Research Effectiveness in the Islamic Azad Universities of Moghan Townships

Abstract:
This research aims to investigate the relationship between the academic staff’s creativity and their educational and research effectiveness in the Islamic Azad universities of Moghan townships. The research is applied-descriptive of correlational type. The statistical population consists of all the academic staff and the students in the year 2008, the numbers being 100 and 3460 respectively, from which the samples, 80 and 800, were taken by relative-stratified sampling method according to Morgan Table. In order to collect data, two questionnaires were used, the validity and reliability of which were 0.72 and 0.77, respectively. In order to test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation and one-way ANOVA were used.
The results indicate that there is a positive and meaningful relationship between the academic staff members’ creativity and their educational and research effectiveness. There is a difference in the creativity of the academic staff members of Islamic Azad Universities around Moghan townships.
