Next, from an intratextual perspective and based on the formalist principles, his poems were studied for their artistic and literary quality. The intertextual analysis showed that Shamloos poetry was totally committed to the left wing describing the political events of the time. It was found that the left ideas were the main reasons why he wrote his poems. Accordingly, he has explicitly or symbolically reflected the left discourse in his poetry to gain the attention of his readers. As for the Intratextual analysis, the results showed that he has put the main emphasis on the audience and subject using a referential and persuasive discourse. He has also focused on concrete narrative and realistic aspects at the expense of the literary one
