The role of personality traits, brain / behavioral systems and attachment styles in anticipation of sexuality married men and women

This study aimed to investigate the role of personality traits, brain / behavioral systems and attachment styles in anticipation of sexuality among men and women (one of the couples).
The present research was a descriptive study of correlational type which statistical population included married employees in the judiciary and well-being organization in Ardabil province, among 160 employees, 140 people were selected by census sampling method. In order to collect data, Eysenck questionnaire (Eysenck, 1985), brain systems and behavior questionnaire (Carver and White, 1994), attachment Bartholomew and Horowitz (1991) and sexual desire Halbert (1992) were selected and for statistical analysis by SPSS16 software, Pearson correlation and multivariate regression methods were used.
The results showed that the personality trait of extraversion had positive and significant relationship with sexual desire, and sexual orientation and personality trait of neuroticism had significant negative relationship with sexual orientation. Also, of the subscales of activation/ behavioral system, drive and looking for entertainment with sexual orientation had a significant positive correlation with sexual desire and finally secure attachment style had significant positive relationship with sexual desire and avoidant attachment style had negative significant relationship with sexual desire.
One of the most important components of the person is healthy sexual function that leads to the couple's mutual pleasure. Personality trait, brain / behavioral system, and attachment style plays an important role in sexual desire.
