Logical Energy Consumption: Institutionalization and Sustainability

This article studies policies which can institutionalize conservation in the society and national economy. The author tries to envisage policies which contribute to the institutionalization of the conservation of energy carriers. He believes that institutionalization is one of the state responsibilities along with other responsibilities such as providing security. As a result an institution should be established to deal with planning and monitoring the processes and policies related to instituionalization. Then, the author examines the laws ratified in the field of energey in some major countries and addresses energy policies in large scale economic models. Finally, he emphasizes on the role of energy service companies (ESCO) in making energy consumption more efficient.
