Nursing personnel are always at risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders . This study aimed to assess the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing staff.
This study was analytic and conducted in 200 nurses in teaching hospitals in Shiraz and random sampling method was used. Data collection was performed using the Nordic and demographic characteristics questionnaires. Analyzed by chi-square test and T-TEST (chi-square) were performed.
Results showed that 100 percent of the study population in the last 12 months, at least in one area of ​​the body's musculoskeletal disorders. Most problems related to the back, knees and my back is living. Significant relationship between sex and the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders of the neck there. Significant association between age and prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in the leg work there.
