Analysis of the promoter and obstacles facing factor on development of rural entrepreneurship with an emphasis on agricultural processing and complementary industries; Kamfiruz County (Marvdasht Township)

The question of revitalizing rural and peripheral regions through the entrepreneurship development has generated considerable attention. Therefore, this study aimed to analysis of the promoter and obstacles facing factor on development of rural entrepreneurship with an emphasis on agricultural processing and complementary industries in Kamfiruz County of Marvdasht Township. The dominant approach of research was quantitative based on survey method. The statistical population consisted of all expert staff in the Jihad-e- Keshavarzi management of Marvdasht County (N=140) which were studied using census method. Finally, 126 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts. The data were analyzed using SPSSwin22 and LISREL8.80 soft wares. For identifying obstacles and promoter of agricultural processing and complementary industries with an emphasis on rural entrepreneurship, exploratory factor analysis employed. In addition, to investigate the index surpasses model, confirmatory factor analysis as well as structural equations model (SEM) were employed. Factor analysis results of the obstacles facing factor showed five group of factors: lack of legal support and provision of facilities by the government, infrastructure-physical obstacles, insufficient capital, lack of knowledge-technical and lack of organizational in marketing that explain 68.23 percent of the total variance. The factor analysis results of the promoter factors showed six groups of factors: adopting modern methods, investment and infrastructure development, supportive factors, provision of necessary education, improving of the technical knowledge and strengthening of social capital that explain 70.52 percent of the total variance. Furthermore, the finding indicated that promoter factors are more important than obstacles facing factors.
