Identification of subjective and objective components influencing on the view designing in order to improve identity of urban landscape and increasing belonging sense of citizens

Façade making in building and creating urban body are a cultural identity debate. Increasing urban developments, the lack of construction limit, mass production expansion in recent years has been caused the view of many cities suffer from a kind of disorderliness that this disorganization in our urban landscape is mainly results from blindly imitation of architectural styles and the absence of classified variables for application in designing views. However, different views in the urban crust can disturb the beauty of the whole city. Therefore, identification and formulation of subjective and objective components for designing ideal and integrated view in urban areas are necessary, since diversity and heterogeneity in urban views has created kind of non-identity and lack of integration in concepts related to the architecture in the field of urban view and landscape. Thus, it seems that urban identity and increasing sense of belonging and citizen pleasureness are depend upon view forming and beauty that can be possible by identifying and utilizing certain formulated principles for view designing. This research is intended to reread visual identity in urban views in conformity with architectural identity components investigating the importance and the effect of view in creating identity for environment and effective variables in building façade resulting in improving identity and increasing the sense of belonging of citizens. Results show the indices such as proportions, harmony, color, scale, and lines in the sky and composition is objectively significant and meaningfulness, instructiveness and memorableness are effective in the facade design.
