Effect of the Urban Landscape in the Safety of Citizens (Case Study: Kooye Moalem Neighborhood Bojnoord)

Abstract:
The issue: In today's societies, comfort and serenity are considered one of the most important factors for residents in cities. A quantitative approach is insufficient for the study of comfort in outdoor zone. It is necessary to stress the importance of qualitative comfort criteria, such as relation with the context, perception of potential control, microclimatic environments diversity, and naturality of the place. It is because lack of comfort results in raising countless mental and social issues. In the recent years, low quality environments have caused a low level of people attendance in that places and subsequently, lots of different problems in human life. One of the determining factors affecting the quality of the environment is providing human comfort. Human comfort features are important. More importantly, focus on thermal and wind comfort among various parameters is anther criterion that should be highly discussed. By the presence of comfort we can return people to urban open spaces. Today similar architectural patterns in different climate regions, cant provide residents comfort. While vernacular housing architecture of different countries had different patterns for providing climate comfort in different regions. In terms of satisfying the probable needs, there are so many different new ideas to reach a greater comfort. One of these needs which are surveyed in this research is creating visual comfort through visual features; because eyesight is the most important and effective factor among all senses can help producing safer, and more favorable environment provided that visual features are used in a city scenery right and appropriately. Because the face of our cities is devoid of quality and comfort and use of space is not induced, lack of attention planners and city managers who have not prepared a comprehensive plan to issue visual comfort; it also extends the unsystematic many cities and increasing population, began to pay less attention to this matter and making visual confusion and disorder cities been. In the case of visual comfort and urban scenery, extensive research has been done. As an instance, studies of Gordon Kalon, Simon Bell, Esmaeil Salehi, Hoda Alavi Tabari, Mohammad Atashinbar, and Masood Motavali can be addressed. And also other different research which has been done in the form of environment quality and city scenery by different scientists in which points out this subject in cities is of importance. The goal of this research is presenting suitable solutions in order to help to create the concept of comfort through visual serenity in an urban environment.
Methodology
The method in this article, is analytical and field studies, and ways and means of research, is documentation and library that foundations are required to collect and review then, according to them, case study compared and using a questionnaire and Specs software analyzed, and solutions in tabular format to create a sense of calm with respect to visual characteristics in the samples provided.
Results
According to compare the approaches taken, the results of case stated to achieve a sense of peace through visual properties in the neighborhood Kooye Moalem.
