Relationship between hemoglobin levels during the first trimester of pregnancy and gestational diabetes

Gestational diabetes is the most common metabolic complication of pregnancy. case-control was conducted on 36 pregnant women with gestational diabetes (case group) and 36 pregnant women without the condition (control group) referring to Research Center of Endocrinology and routine prenatal care clinics. Data was collected by information form and convenience sampling was used. Both groups were matched for age, number of abortions and parity.
