Abstract:
In this research, we used gamma rays with high energy that can cause gene expression and genetic variation to produce aspecial plant with high level of secondry metabolite. Propagated plants were exposed to gamma radiation with 50,100 and 200 Gy after two weeks and were tshen grown in vitro culture. Then physiological and antioxidnt parameters measured. Dry and fresh weight were increased with gamma rays. Total phenolic was increased after exposer of plant and callus to gamaradiation. The amount of condensed tannins in plant showed a decrease in 50 and 100 dose of radiation samples and increased in 200 Gy. Amount of condensed tannins in callus didn’t display differences between control and treated samples. Total flavonoid in plant significantlywas increased in 50, 100 Gy and was decreased in 200 Gy and this substance didn’t change in callus. Results showed expose plant and callus with phenolic substance can tolerate lots of damages and free radicals.
