Message:
Abstract:
The present study seeks to analyze the relationship between spiritual intelligence factors with anxiety and depression among the students majoring in Islamic sciences and the students of other majors. The sample includes 38 students majoring Islamic sciences and 196 students of other majors who were in the fourth grade of high school in Khorram Abad (district 2). They were chosen by the method of multi-stage cluster sampling. Naseri spiritual intelligence questionnaire, Beck`s anxiety questionnaire and Goldberg`s depression questionnaire were used in this study. According to the analysis of multiple regression, anxiety was significantly predictable in both groups by patience (in spiritual intelligence). Also, depression was predictable by patience and forgiveness in Islamic sciences group and it was predictable by patience and spiritual experiences in other students. However, patience is a stronger predictor. Also in the case of the students majoring Islamic sciences these factors are stronger predictors.
