Abstract:
Commercial ships are operated mainly by factors such as corrosion in marine environments, as well as damage to fatigue, depression, and hence, the ultimate strength of different periods from the perspective of safety control structure necessary to be considered. In recent years, the strength of structures of old ships has been of interest to many researchers. On the other hand, numerical methods and software widely used for this purpose are available. The purpose of this study, the effect of initial imperfections, general corrosion, pitting and cracks on the ultimate strength is a bulk carrier vessels.
