Study of the Effect of Desirability of Urban Space Indicators on the Realization of the Right to the City (Case of Study: Babolsar)

Abstract:
Right to the City, is a human right includes the city belonging to the citizens and their participation in the citizenship tasks. Allocate this right into the framework of human rights instead of civil rights is the sense that every person- regardless of gender, age, race and sociocultural characteristics- simply because of human beings deserve to benefit from this right. Goal of this study, is to consider the effect of urban space utility indicators on the realization of the right to the city. For this purpose the Lefebvre's theory was used as a base framework. Methodology of this survey is questionnaire technique that was used with a sample size of 305 participant. Results of multivariate regression analysis showed that the partnership in city indicator with standardized Coefficients (Beta) 21%, allocation indicator 18%, and urban space quality desirability indicators (psychological 19%, social 16%), have the most contribution in predicting the dependent variable of the realization of the right to the city.
