Scientific Papers and Research Papers

Scientific journals select papers based on their scientific content, i.e. the validity of research method and innovative findings. Research papers present answers to research questions on the basis of a theoretical framework, a valid research method, and convincing analysis. Such papers follow a systematic structure for presenting their information that is essential for explaining a complex subject matter in a comprehensible manner. This paper describes diverse types of research papers according to their questions and research methods and defines criteria for assessing the quality of a research paper. As the conclusion, a standard structure for presenting information in a research paper is explained.
