Psychometric properties of Persian version of Kinesthetic and Visual Imagery questionnaire among Patients with multiple sclerosis (Farsi Version)

Background And Aim
Mental imagery is the simulation or re-creation of perceptual across sensory modalities. The purpose of this study is to determine Kinesthetic and Visual Imagery questionnaire psychometrics among Patients with multiple sclerosis.
Materials And Methods
In this study which is also based on validity and reliability, 110 Patients with multiple sclerosis in Ahwaz city were selected available. In this survey, was Kinesthetic and Visual Imagery questionnaire. To determine the validity of the instrument, factor analysis was used as the analysis instrument on structural equation; internal consistency was Cronbach’s Coefficient Alpha and reliability time of internal consistency of the questionnaire was test-retest using two weeks intervals.
Results
The analytical results were meaningful. The questionnaire and its factors in internal consistency and reliability time were desirable and acceptable; ie. internal consistency (0.91) and reliability time (0.86) were acceptable.
Conclusion
The results of this study indicates that this questionnaire is both valid and reliable.
