An analytical review of national psychological resiliency

This research aims to analytically investigate the psychological concept called ‘national psychological resiliency’ considering the dangers and threats associated with various aspects of soft war.
Using the content analysis method, this research work deals with the analytical examination of the definition and significant facets of national psychological resiliency. Hence, some samples from the texts and research works dealing with political issues and national psychological resiliency in the field of social psychology were selected, and five coding experts in the fields of defense, military and psychology were invited to help the research project.
Based on the obtained results, this definition was extracted for ‘national psychological resiliency’ construct: ‘national psychological resiliency denotes the time and position in which an individual faced with a problem having various facets of soft war can immediately or after some time lapse, at the three cognitive, emotional and behavioral levels, reach the previous level, or a higher one, and his / her direct or indirect performance and mental and physical health is not influenced’.
National psychological resiliency is a construct in the field of social psychology which seeks to safeguard individuals’ accomplishment in the face of the various aspects of soft war and make them resistant when they are the target of changes in political, cultural and behavioral beliefs, so that they can act positively and robustly and may not be shaken in psychological and social involvements.
