Identification and Analysis of Effective Factors, Creativity in Packaging Design and Sales of Food Products

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to identify and investigate the effective factors in the creative design of food packaging, in general, and canned goods, in particular on the sale of these products in retail stores and supermarkets. The method of combining previous findings and exploration has been used to identify and categorize the factors influencing the design and creativity of packaging food products and selling them in supermarkets. The results of the research show that the important factors influencing the creative design of food packaging can be categorized in the form of two factors. General design factors are domestic or international target of the market, environmental factors, Economic, social and cultural, government and trade regulations, market conventions and market competitors. Technical features in packaging design including packaging material, technology, printing and packaging technology, consumer needs, retail and warehouse needs, geometric pattern, production process, logistic considerations, transportation, distribution and sales networks, environmental considerations, health, safety and protection factors. In order to analyze and investigate the effects of identified factors on sales, 300 questionnaires were prepared and distributed in well-being stores, Minab, Roodan, Siriik and Bandar Jask, and 290 questionnaires were completed and collected. To model and check the relationship between variables, the least squares method with Smart PLS software was used. For meaningful analysis of model relationships, t-value coefficients have been used. The results of the research show that the technical design factors with a path coefficient of 0.571 in the T-12.758 model and test, it has the most impact on the sale of canned goods.
