Survey of Effect of Urbanism and Religiosity on Consumerism (Case of Study: Students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz)

Abstract:
This article seeks to study the effect of Urbanism and Religiosity on the consumerism. The method that be used in this research is survey method and collecting of data has performed by means of questioner technique. Statistical community of research was all of students of Shahid Chamran university of Ahwaz in educational year of 2012-2013, also sample of research is 400 of students of Shahid Chamran university that have selected by simple random sampling. Findings of this research show that religiosity variable has negative and significant relation with consumerism, but urbanism variable has positive and significant relation with consumerism. Also among grounded variables ethnicity and gender has significant with consumerism.
