Paradise as a Common Concept to the Quran and the Bible

Abstract:
According to the teachings of divine religions, people's life continues after death. Although the belief in resurrection physical or spiritual is considered as one of the important pillars of divine religions, the attitude to the way of life in the hereafter is different. As one of the important constituents of the life in the hereafter, paradise is one of the doctrines about which Islam and Christianity have a lot in common. Paradise is the abode in which the righteous are admitted. Although divine religions explicitly mention the high position of paradise, they do not say what its place look like. There are many differences of opinion about the issue of marriage in paradise. Although, have a lot in common about Adam and Eve's paradise divine religions, there are many different of opinion between them about what is looks like. This research seeks to discuss the similarities and differences of opinion between Islam and Christianity about paradise. The dubious idea which the presented paradise in the Quran is consistent with the desire and lust of era of revelation is rejected.
