Copyright in Press

Abstract:
The copyright is a collection of private and individual rights which, according to the law, is given the holder and creator of a literary and artistic work, for his intellectual and creative efforts, so that he can benefit from the benefits and advantages of it, as well as from the work Support yourself against others. These rights are not subject to the provisions of the press, as it is appropriate. The press is responsible for informing the community, and it has the mission of enlightening the public opinion of the community, and may violate the rights of creators of literary and artistic works in pursuit of this mission. Creating a balance between the rights of the press and their reedom on the one hand and the rights of the authors on the other, is imperative for national and international legislators. The principle is that the rights of the author, including the economic and moral rights, are protected and not infringed, but where the purpose is to inform the public, the copyright infringement is subject to exceptions to be investigated. In this research, author's rights in the press are examined and their mutual interactions are explained together.
