Perceived Organizational Virtue: the Missing Link of Positivism Paradigm in Organizational Studies

Virtuousness in societies provides the integral elements of good citizenship,reciprocity, and stabilityneeded to ensure societal longevity. According to phenomenon of organizational virtue is Due to the appearance of positivism’s paradigm in the field of organizational studies. The present study sought to clarify the role of this approach with regard to mediate the relationship between perceptions of organizational virtue and positive psychological capital will be citizenship behavior. Using a stratified random sampling from among 1853 employees of administrative units under the current budget Yazd twenty-three, of whom 324 were selected and questionnaires to collect data from a five-point Likert scale consisting of five variables was used. Questionnaire to formal methods - content and its reliability as measured by Cronbach's alpha coefficients were calculated for each variable using path analysis and structural equation modeling via LISREL software, data analysis was conducted. Our study confirms the association between positive psychological capital and citizenship behavior, organizational virtue endorse the perception of the role of mediator.
