Identifying and Addressing the Contextual Factors Contributing to Strategic Thinking in the Petrochemical Industry
Strategic thinking, as an effective approach to development and excellence, enables to provide timely understanding of threats and environmental opportunities to create desirable future for themselves. Due to the importance of contextual factors in the emergence, growth and development of strategic thinking capabilities at different level of the organizations, in this research which is functional in term of purpose and descriptive correlational in term of data processing; after reviewing the literature in the field of research and relying on the experience of in Petrochemical Company manager and experts as a goal of destination organization, we will develop 12 hypothesis to identify factors affecting the strategic thinking, we will focus on this research by using a questionnaire consisting 35 questions to Check assumptions in the number 126 of the top managers and experts of the three companies has been active in the field of petrochemicals. After confirming the meaningful correlation of 8 independent variables with dependent variable of strategic thinking by exploratory factor analysis of confirmed assumptions in the form of model consist environmental factors, management features and organizational dynamics, then by using harmonic mean Integral method and set of fuzzy numbers with according to view of 7 experts in the field of research, importance coefficients, factors and influencing variables of strategic thinking were determined
