The Place of Will in Human Value-Judgment As Perceivable in the Quran with an Emphasis on the Virtue of Faith

In the paper, essentiality of human will in value-judging has been explained and the extention to which the holy Quran has noticed it has been studied. The question if human will alone has been known by the Quran as a norm for human ethical evaluation or other norms may be found for it, has been studied in the paper. Infidelity and faith, knowledge and ignorance, doubt and certainty have been known by the Quran having to do with human value-assessment. In some of these cases human will is of a considerable part and in others of weak part. In the paper, the place of human will in faith as one of the most important ethical virtues has been studied in detail. Besides, the effect of human will in other norms of happiness, and of valueableness of the Quran that may be in some way counted as being under the rule of faith, have been explained.
As concluded in the paper, human will is of the essential place and part in establishing faith. In other cases like doubt that make the ground for misleading, human will would play a vital part. Therefore, when studying the part and applicability of human will, its conditions should be brought into consideration.
