The spatial analysis of Khormouj city resident's tendency to tourism

The spatial distribution,basically, describes how a phenomenon is spread from its main focal point(s) between people whom are willing to accept it. So, unbalanced distribution of facilities and services could adversely affect citizens’ willingness to have tourism activities.The rate of interest and desire to travel and entertainment,which are nowadays one of the basic human needs and can be emerged in tourism activities, is not the same in all areas. This difference is a matter of interest in various scientific fields.In this paper, by means of descriptive-analytic method, the interest rateofKhormoujcityresidents to tourism and leisure has been studied. The required data have been obtained through290 questionnaires filled by households and performed with SPSSsoftware. The GIS software has also been usedto display data in different areas of city.The results showed thatKhormoujfamilies’ tendency to tourism is not the same; there exists a significant differencein different neighborhoods.
