The role of self-leadership on staff human capital of higher education institutions: The case of University of Tehran

Abstract:
This study aimed to explain a role of self-leadership on human capital of higher education institutions. The research method was descriptive and correlational and data analysis method was SEM. Sample size was determined 131 personnel by Stratified random sampling, from among the personnel of seven faculties of social and behavioral sciences of university of Tehran. Self-leadership questionnaire of Abili and Mazari (2014) with the reliability (α =0/96) and human capital questionnaire of Naderi (2011) with the reliability (α=0/95) were used to collect data that also checked and verified content and construct validity. To analyze the data, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise regression and structural equation modeling was used.
