Language and Levels of Identity: Global Identity, Regional, Cultural IRAN, National, and Local

Language and identity are two inseparable parts in creating the infrastructure of human societies in the field of personal and social relations. In this paper, which is a library and documentary type, and in a review style, it attempts to address the role of the language in the context of creating global, regional, national and regional identities. In order to access experts and scholar’s opinions The researcher has reviewed the views of experts on the relationship between these two phenomena and also reviewed various sources, including specialized journals, online databases and books. In the present research, the concepts of identity and its types and the effect of this phenomenon on language have been investigated. Finally, the analysis of theories and explanations confirms the important role of national languages and more attention in the national language as an important means of linking the state with the nation and the practice of unification and the establishment of ethnic groups. The purpose of this paper is to provide an analysis based on the relationship between language and identity, which is done according to the nature of the research using a qualitative approach.
