Investigation of the reliability and validity of Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale in university students

The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity of the Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale (SHAPS) in university students. The statistical population of this study were all students of University of Isfahan among whom 294 students were selected through random multistage sampling as the sample of the study. Cronbach's Alpha and split-half coefficients were used for computing the reliability of SHAPS. Also, Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) were used to calculate the concurrent validity of SHAPS. The results showed that SHAPS has an appropriate reliability.
