Abstract:
Hans Robert Jauss (1921-1997) believed that history of a literary masterpiece not only the history of its creation, but also an important part of that is the history of their text and vicissitudes of its acceptability after its creation. It seems that this view help us to Rewrite the history of Persian literary masterpieces and lead to write a new generation of readable and attractive literature history books that are not boring. Hence in the present research we will show part of the history of Shahnameh in the first decades after the Islamic Revolution. To reach this goal we have researched in newspapers and historical documents and showed that how Shahname which was important text and Reflected the policy of ethnic nationalism during the Pahlavi dynasty lost its position in Islamic Republic. Some revolutionaries ignored Shahname and even sometimes insulted that. But after a few years this literary text could be a reflection of the ideology of Islamic Iran. In this article we will investigate why and how this happened.
