Pictorial Irony in the Political Poem of Badr Shaker Sayab

Abstract:
Irony is a technique based on the contradiction among two mutual pictures from contemporary conditions or among heritage data and some contemporary situations. By exploiting such a strategy,the poet use the irony speaking to mention his internal ideas. and by creating a relation among present unconfirmity in a elegy, is establishes The unagreement between present conditions and future good situation. Based on this ,the Irony is considered as one of the baisic themes of political and social poem of Siab ,through which criticize undirectly the society challenges.often by calling litral, historical,religious and national heritage and providing the contemporary and contradictional implications,he opens a space in his poem that places the golden past of Arabs versus the contemporary conditions of Arabs society,spcially Iraq. Sayyab selects this strategy to fight. the cruelty of bosses and political Iraq and encouraging to combat against colonization. The present study evaluate the different kinds of Irony in the political and social poem of Sayyab by a descriptive method.
