The effect of brokerage structural hole Position on the formation of corporate entrepreneurship in businesses with networked Patterns

Corporative entrepreneurship is a process that leads the organizational activities towards creativity, innovation, risk-taking and pioneering role that ultimately create new value. Access to information is necessary for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities. According to the Burt’s structural holes theory, people who joins the nodes in a communication network, achieve exclusive information and can be used them for starting entrepreneurial activities in the organization. This research studies the role of brokerage structural hole in creating the organizational entrepreneurship and measures the moderator role of business culture in this relation. In terms of objective, this study is considered as an empirical one, and the research methodology is descriptive-correlative type. Population included president and sales managers of distributor companies in North Khorasan over 240 people. Among those people, 210 individuals were selected to be studied using Cochran's sample size formula and through random sampling method. Measurement tool in this research was standard questionnaire; structural equation modeling technique (SEM) and SMART PLS 2 software were used for data analysis.The results indicate the structural holes network creates new opportunities for entrepreneurial activities in network business. A person who is in a position of structural holes with the intuition and entrepreneurial alertness can change the existing situation and act an entrepreneurial orientation for creating new value for organization
