The Role Of Various Dimensions Of Human Factor In The Development Of Knowledge Management Processes

This research was carried out with the aim of determining the role of different dimensions of human factor in the development of knowledge management processes. The research method is applicable descriptive survey based on purpose and structural equations. The statistical population in the qualitative section was a group of 12 university experts and specialists who were experienced in knowledge management and human factor and in the quantitative part the statistical population was invited faculty members, managers, commanders and employees of Imam Khomeini Naval Academy of Nowshahr. Using Morgan table and simple random sampling method, 280 people were selected as sample. The data gathering method was mixed. In the qualitative section, the interview was conducted and in the quantitative section a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 24 items and the standard questionnaire of Shonon Lawson (2003) including 24 items scaling of the adjusted Likert scale were used respectively to measure human factors and knowledge management processes. The reliability of the questionnaires were 0.85 and 0.85, respectively, which showed high reliability of the questionnaires. The results of the study showed that each of the different individual, group and management dimensions of the human factor have a significant effect on the development of knowledge management processes. The average attitude of experts in terms of BA, MS and PhD degrees is different in developing knowledge management processes
