Comparative Study of the Intellectual Structure of Contemporary Extreme Currents with Khawarij

Message:
Abstract:

Maybe at first glance, comparing the Khawarij with the contemporary Salafi- Takfir groups that are about 14 centuries apart from each other in terms of the time of formation, are not suitable, scientific and practical; but the truth is  that these groups intellectually, morally and behaviorally are so similar to each another, which attracts the attention of each author and scholar, as some scholars have named modern extremist groups with titles such as New Khawarijiun and Contemporary Khawarij. Of course, there are differences in the time and mode of formation of Khawarij  and contemporary Salafi-Takfiri groups, but they are very small compared to their similarities. In the present study, we try to use comparative and historical methods to compare these groups with the use of existing works and resources, to examine their theoretical and practical similarities, with hope that the results Such research can help community to better and more accurately identify such groups in the present and future and prevent them from growing and leave the community out of their horrific results of their actions.
