Comparison of General, Physical - Psychological and Social Health Between Two Groups of Intelligent and Normal Male and Female Students

this research was the comparison of General, Physical-Psychological and social health between two groups of intelligent and normal male and female students. 120 student's intelligent and normal male and female psychology students of Payam Noor University south Tehran were selected by convenience sampling. Ware and sherbourne quality of life questionnaires (1992) Public health GHQ-28 Goldberg (1972) keys social health (2004) and Raven intelligence test was developed. There was no difference between intelligent and Normal people and also their gender, in general health. Mental health of clever people was lower than normal individuals and they are more depressed then Normal people and there was no difference between sexes. Intelligent people in the scale of social cohesion and social participation earned higher scores than Normal people and there was no difference between two sexes. intelligence plays a double role in people. on the one hand it causes mental harm and the other hand it will be superior. The issue of psychological vulnerability is probably due to higher psychological sensitivity of intelligent people to social family changes.
