Role of Social Capital on Rural Women Empowerment in Meshkinshar County, case study: central district

The purpose of this study was to examine role of social capital on rural women empowerment in Meshkinshahr County. A survey methodology was applied and its research method was descriptive and analytical survey in this research project. In addition, research statistical population consists of all the rural women who are living to central district of Meshkinshar County. Also, at this research was selected the 145 inhabitant rural women in the rural areas of Meshkinshahar county by way random sampling through the medium of Cochran’s Test. Survey method with questionnaire and interview were used for data collection in this research. Content validity of the instrument was established using a panel of different experts of, rural planning, agricultural extension and education sciences, and rural development. A reliability of analysis, conducted with SPSS software and Cronbachs alpha value were reported 0.80 percent. The findings showed that trust to others, social participation, informal relations, inter personal confidence, confidence to constitutions, information exchange with out of communities, information exchange with communities memberships, formal relation, social interaction and amount of awareness had positive and significant correlation with rural women empowerment. Also, the variables of social cooperative and social conflict had negative and significant correlation with rural women empowerment. In addition, the regression statics about rural women empowerment showed that social capital, awareness amount, trust to others, information exchange with out of community, interpersonal confidence, formal relation and interaction rate could explain%93 of variation dependent variable of rural women empowerment.
