Presenting the Method of materials Centralized purchase and Examining its Barriers and Benefits (Case Study: Qom Handwoven Carpet Cluster

Today, one of the Challenges of the Qom Handwoven Carpet Cluster is supplying materials. Since most of the materials used by Qom carpet manufacturers are imported, and manufacturers buy silk through intermediaries and with a higher price, manufacturers need to supply materials at a lower cost and in better quality and it need to research. The most important goals of this research are Presenting the Method of materials Centralized purchase (silk), its barriers and benefits Compared to decentralized purchasing (through intermediaries), as well as the ranking of benefits and barriers. This research has an applied approach and uses descriptive-survey method. The statistical population of this research is composed of manufacturers of Qom Handwoven Carpet Cluster. Twelve of manufacturers have been selected by non-random sampling method, who are members of the soft network for purchasing materials of and have a history of purchasing materials in common. Two methods used to collect information are library and field studies and AHP method is used to analyze data.
The research has so far not been carried out in the handwoven carpet industry, and this is the first scientific research that has focused on the centralized purchasing process of raw materials. The results indicate that the central purchasing method is the most suitable purchase method for materials (silk) in the Qom Handwoven Carpet Cluster. In addition, the benefits and barriers of this method are also expressed and ultimately ranked. The results show that the central purchasing method has advantages over decentralized purchases, and it's able to will solve many of the problems of supplying materials in the cluster
