Cyberspace, giving new life to idealistic journalism for creating society in Iran

Abstract:
With ever spreading of Internet and consequently expansion of cyberspace, numerous societies have been emerged within this space and have left their marks on large number of human phenomenon. These important phenomenon include civil society and changes taken place in communications and media sectors that have provided an opportunity to civil society to create new experience namely idealistic journalism.
In this paper efforts have been made while defining civil society and impacts of cyberspace during the recent years on such society, to elaborate on idealistic journalism. This type of journalism, with reference to its root in European countries and theories developed by thinkers such as Habermas has been theoretically framed in discussions on public spher.
By using documentation and librarian methods, problems facing idealistic journalism, such as ineffective laws, limited access and lack of electronic government in general, which exist in Iran, have been discussed.
At the conclusion, by numerating advantages and disadvantages of cyberspace it became evident that despite existing problems, idealistic journalism is achievable and possible in Iran and it could be accepted as a sort of journalism and make use of its advantages
