Assessment of the media and information literacy of users in National Library and Archives Organization of Sistan and Baluchestan

The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the competencies of media and information literacy in users National Library and Archives Organization of Sistan and Baluchistan. The research methodology was survey. In the present study population consists of all users National Library and Archives Organization of Sistan and Baluchestan. Samples were also a sample of 170 people that were choosen by Random sampling - a class. In order to collect data were used the questionnaire for AshrafiRizi et al (1392) based on UNESCO's media literacy indicators. In order to analyze the data was used software and spss t- sample. Based on the result, The intended use of the media, how to use the media in the samples is lower than average. The evaluation information, the combined information, the exchange of information and observance of copyright in the sample studied is higher than average. there is a significant The media and information literacy among women and men, amount of media and information literacy, more men than women. there is a significant difference in Media literacy and information between the different levels of education. PhD and master's degree students have more information and media literacy.
