Investigating the Role of Traditions in Decreasing Instruments in Determining the Order of Descent and the Preference of Narratives
Author(s):
Abstract:
One of the most influential subjects in the field of commentary and Qur'anic discussions is how to achieve the correct Descending order of the Holy Qur'an. One of the criteria that has been taken into consideration by the researchers in this regard are traditions of descent. This criterion has been used by researchers in criticizing the traditions of the order of descent, their confirmation, and also independently of the narrations, in determining the order of correct descent. At the opposite, some generally believe that the traditions of descent are invalid, and some do not accept the role of these narrations in determining the order of descent. To judge correctly about the value of this criterion, it is necessary to review the arguments of the parties that are discussed in this article.
The results of the survey indicate that in some cases the role of the narrations of the instruments of decline can be accepted in Confirmation and in some cases, in the critique and preferences of the Trusted orders.
