Traffic Management on Inter-Car Network Platform

Inter-car networks are a subset of temporary mobile networks that have recently emerged as a research and applied field. Inter-car networks have many applications in many areas, including safety, security, traffic management, etc., especially in some developed countries. These applications can save lives for thousands of people every day or make travel easier for users. Inter-car networks Although the subset of mobile networks is temporary, however, high mobility and vehicle constraints create new challenges for data communications. Perhaps the biggest challenge in inter-car networks is the routing issues and the partnership between nodes. Even the best routing protocol will not be useful when the node does not participate in sending data. In this paper, inter-automobile networks will be examined based on their communication challenges, the protocol of this type of network and the comparison between common protocols in the research. Then we will have a detailed discussion on the categorization of different vehicle-to-vehicle applications and implementation challenges. In addition, the nodes' participation mechanisms are categorized and comprehensive.
