Abstract:
The deep connection between Rumi''''''''s Masnavi and the Qur''''''''an is unique among the poetic works of Persian literature. In Masnavi, the Quranic stories of the life of the prophets, in particular the story of the life of Noah (AS), which is full of educational and didactic principles, is expressed directly, implicitly, and allegorically. Rumi is the only poet in Persian literature who refers to the Noah''''''''s wife and points out some of inconsistencies of his wife. Based on the Qur''''''''an, Rumi also describes the conflict of Canaan, Noah''''''''s son, with a psychological look. Such difficulties and problems have always occurred not only to Noah the Prophet, but also to many religious figures throughout history. Therefore, in a descriptive-analytical approach, this paper attempts to examine the educational challenges of the life of Noah''''''''s son from the Qur''''''''an and psychological perspectives in Molavi''''''''s Masnavi. It suggests that diverse educational factors, such as environment, inheritance, etc., have been the subject of deviation for Canaan.
