Analyzing and criticizing Ali Abdul Razaq's view on Mahdavi Government by relying on Sunni sources
Author(s):
Abstract:
Despite the attention of the Sunni community to the issue of Mahdaviyat and the belief in the realization of Mahdavi's world government, some Sunni intellectuals have now reduced this belief from its true status and denied it. Among these people is Egyptian Ali Abdul Razaq. By limiting the Prophetic mission to the history of his presence, he contends that the Quran and Prophetic tradition did not speak about the Islamic state and government. Accordingly, terms such as "religious government " or "Mahdavi government ", which are raised by Muslims, are some unwise words and words. In this article, this claim has been evaluated and criticized. The findings show that both Qur'anic verses and Prophetic hadiths contained in Sunni narrative resources confirm the religiousness of the government and even spoke explicitly about the realization of the Mahdavi government at the time of the advent of Imam Mahdi (AS).
