The investigate of role of the construction and management of gastronomic tourism brand in tourism development

gastronomic tourism can be on of the key instruments in developing a positive image of a country internationally. Inasmuch as a local culture’s own unique cuisine and gastronomic embodies and expresses its character and may eventually, it can a tool to construction of gastronomic tourism brand at destination. The present study aims at the investigate the factors affecting the construction and management of gastronomic tourism brand and the opportunities resulting from the construction and management of gastronomic tourism brand. The type of this study is descriptive-experimental method and qualitative method was used. The data was gathered through an interview form and a questionnaire. Lastly, the data was analyzed using Coding method (open and Axial coding). Literature reviews and experts opinions, the clearest results of the Coding method indicated that factors such as , food diversity, marketing, urban management, cultural diversity and urban vitality can be effective in construction and management of gastronomic tourism brand in city of Rasht and economic opportunities of the opportunities of construction and brand management was effective.
