Rijali and Individual Personality of Ammar Bin Musa Sabati, His Authenticity and Religion

Message:
Abstract:
Ammar bin Musa Sabati who narrated a large amount of Hadith, was of the companions of Imam Sadiq(AS) and Imam Kazdhim(AS). His traditions are very influential in jurisprudence, but there are conflicts and disputes in his ahadith. This fact has caused his personality and narratives to be challenged. Some consider him weak and they reject his narratives for the sake of his religion. The present paper tries to study the religion and patriotism with the help of Rijal words and historical evidence. In this article, the authenticity of Sabati is verified with regard to the testimony of Najashi and the words of Sheikh Tusi, and other indications such as the sayings of Ayyashi and Sheykh Mofid, quotations of the great people and majority of the narrative. The well-known people also accept this viewpoint. His religion is also a matter of dispute between the Rijaliun. Did Sabati stay Fathi or he returned? The well-known people have accepted the first idea based on the words of the Rijaliun such as the Ayyashi, kashi, Sheykh Tusi and Hisham bin Salem. On the contrary, some have chosen the idea that he has returned to the religion of Imamiyyah according to the Hadith of Istihab, the appearance of Najashi's description, the appearance of words of Sheykh Mofid and Sabati's being placed among the companions of Imam Kazdhim(AS) and Imam Reza(AS). The mentioned and some other evidence prove his right religion.
