Critiques of Shia Hadith in Jordan, Bibliography of the Modernist Books of the Jordan Sunni people on Shi'i Hadith

Author(s):
Abstract:
Some Sunni writers have long been studying and analyzing Shi'a narrative texts. In the recent years, the volume of such writings has increased in comparison with the past. In the present article, we introduce three new works of the books published in Jordan, each of which focuses on Imāmī traditions from different angels. The both books of "Kafi al-Sunn'at min Kafi-al-Shi'a" and "Sarih al-Imamat" are works of Muhammed al-Salah al-Zdawi. In the first book the author evaluates the collection of prophetic traditions in the book Usul al-Kafi, and in the second book, he criticizes the traditions related to the proofs of Imamate. The book "Derasat Phi Toroq al-Hadith an al-A'emmah" by Sawdad al-Alusi has evaluated the ways of Ahlulbat's traditions and he has supposed that many narrators of Ahlulbayt are corrupt and unreliable people. All three books indicate poor authorship, their alienation with the evaluative methods of Shi'a and lack of adequate narration. The authors rely heavily on internet resources or intermediaries, and it seems that these works are only used by the general youth who are not able to study Shiite sources.
